Xanax

Xanax (alprazolam) is a drug primarily intended for the treatment of panic attacks and a number of anxiety disorders. When taking the concentrated liquid make sure you use a special dropper to measure the medicine to avoid taking more than recommended. If you do not have a dropper you can ask your pharmacist for one. The contents of the dropper should be mixed with juice, soda, applesauce or water. Do not store the mixture for future use – throw away any unused mixture you have left. In most cases your doctor will start you on a lower dose of this medicine and then increase the dose gradually. Do not increase the dose yourself as you may not fully benefit from the medicine if not all of your health conditions have been taking into consideration. You must not start the treatment if you are also taking ketoconazole or itraconazole as this may result in a dangerous drug interaction.
